Genuine UGG boots Why do people ware socks with them?

Genuine sheepskin boots are soft and comfortable for the bare foot, they minamise sweat and wearing socks just just deafeats the point of having UGGs. Me and my friend always ware bare feet with ours but most people ware socks WHY?
