Believers, have you read the book "When Bad Things Happen To Good People"?

Do you think that the author is right about god not being perfect AND all powerful, all knowing(basically he thinks that god is imperfect) He makes good points about the fact that there are somethings that god has no control of that is why bad things happen to good people and that is why god is considered imperfect.....like when parents receive mentally challenged kids...why would he do that to the parents?...more importantly why would he distort such an innocent child?...because he didn't and because he is imperfect...and if you feel that he is perfect then does that mean he is not all powerful since he had no control over how that child was going to turn out...im not trying to offend anybody so please dont be so rude with your response...it hurts my feelings :( im just curious...
